Hi Guys
So far at Hockenheim:
Free Practice 1: http://www.mediasuperkart.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/Superkart-Hockenheim-essais-privé-1.pdf
Free Practice 2: http://www.mediasuperkart.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/Hockenheim-essais-prives-2-scratch.pdf
Qualy 1: http://www.mediasuperkart.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/Hockenheim-chrono-1.pdf
Both Gavin Bennett and J. R. Osborne were showing well in FP2, but both dissapeared early in Quali 1. Don't know what happened?
Best Regards
Ian :)

Re: Hockenheim
I believe Gavin did an engine and pulled off at the first hairpin, i heard that his crew were madly rebuilding the engine yesterday getting it ready for this morning. I'm not sure about J.R though....
I would highly recommend to anyone back home, that if your ever in Europe, get yourself to one of these meetings, they are incredible. The guys out here are great and the gear their running is phenomenal. Can't wait to see a few other ozzies over here later this year.
Re: Hockenheim
Gavin, replied on FB that he had a cold seize and thinks JR lost a water hose, don't know if there was subsequent damage or he just stopped on circuit.
Enjoy your weekend!
Tell Buzzer to get a move on in Q2 and tell him those leather's were Eddie Kooiker's, he can probably take a guess if they would be likely to fit!

Congrats to Marcel Massmann on a superb pole position 0.43 sec ahead of the field!
J.R. done good with 7th on the grid
Gavin had a main jet fall out, the subsequent misfire keeping him down in 19th place. Should be a good race through the field
Best Regards

Re: Hockenheim
Congrats to Vinuales, Lijla and Massman on 1,2,3.
Safety car on the first lap saw JR Osborne fall to 39th, Stefan Malm retired to the pits and Jürgen Reinke out.
Good drives from Gavin up to 6th place at the flag and JR up to 15th. Live timing was working well! Second race tomorrow at 10.30am GMT.
Best Regards
Ian :)
Re: Hockenheim
Congratualations to Vinuales, Lilja, and Hentschel on 1,2,3.
JR Orborne was up to 6th with a lap to go, but was passed to finish 7th by Kout who had dropped down the order after a few slower mid-race laps and then recoverd his pace at the end. A sperb showing amongst the level of competitors at the front.
Not sure of the exact engine spec that JR was running, but it was listed as a BRC, but perhaps with some WIWA mods? I did hear some rumours, but Ted would know better?
Gavin Bennett was in and around 10th the whole race, with some slightly inconsistent lap times, so I guess nursing some problems? and finished in that possition.
Other Brits suffering misfortune were, Liam Morley who dropped out on lap 3. Dave Harvey was straight into the pits at the end of lap 1 and Kevin Busby also retired to the pits at the completion of Lap 8.
With 3 chassis makes (Anderson/PVP and MS Kart) and 3 engines (FPE, PVP and DEA) all featuring in the top positions, it is looking good for the upcoming European Championships.
Best Regards
Ian :)
Re: Hockenheim
The whole experience over here was great and i want to say a big thanks to the guys at Busby racing for taking care of me. Now bring on Snetterton.
Re: Hockenheim
Glad you had a great time!! I believe that Buzzer managed to fix you up with some leathers for the BGP and was there also . . . . . some mention of ripped trousers ;)
Best Regards

Re: Hockenheim
did you have a "Something about Mary" moment?
Re: Hockenheim
Yer, Kevin sorted some leathers for me, but i ended up stuck in them after one of the zips broke... as for the ripped trousers........... we'll leave it at that.

There is still the option of Eddies leathers if the fit may be a little better.
