Can anyone tell me (Sam, Mike?) any info on the Laguna race. What are the license requirements needed and is there anyone over there that can lease karts for this event?
I could proberly arrange an Anderson/DEA for around 6K if intrested. or Possibly Riley Will could lease out a kart with BRC if you paid for his time/delivery. I would expect around 5K if he was willing.
Mind you they could both be a NO, just my first thoughts on good karts that I know.
What do they classify as our national class over there?? Will find out how much Aker wants to spend!! He's going over for a two week charity ride and can fit in that weekend. More a case of 'racing' Laguna than wanting to be competitive but you never kmow. Have a mate at Monster in the states so maybe they'll tip in and we can go large!!

How easy is that that for a licence?? You can even race a sprint car over there with the same requirment.
Riley, we will definitely be in touch for a lease deal next year if something is available. Planning on doing Laguna and spending a week at Colin Edwards Bootcamp!!
There are no license requirements over here. Just show up, be safe, and race. I have leased out karts before at $5k. We even won once! ;)
2004 with Kyle Rice. Wayne was running 3rd with 2 to go when the chain got so loose it was jumping even at light throttle. Oh, and not to mention the cracked rear pipe. We learned why them guys all run front bars OUTSIDE the nosecone :P
We had the Kart here in NZ for a while. I believe Wizzer is still running the engine....
Are you not bringing anyone south this year to have another grab at the trophy Riley?

My rear wing was broken early on after a back marker swerved to allow me to pass, instead crashed into me when I was overtaking. I later spun and parked it in the gravel when it started to spinkle rain as my wing was broken and my pit crew were signalling me to go faster. :(
That was coming out of the left hander heading up the hill towards the corkscrew from memory - I saw it on a video on youtube awhile back from someone elses kart. I'll see if I can track it down again... It looked like you would have had a good pucker going on in those leathers!!!

Leasing a good Superkart in the USA has always been way over the top in price or a total shit box or both.
In my opinion, that wouldn't be an option.

Have you seen him on a bike seat?

The one thing they do best.
:D
Re: Laguna Seca Sept 7-9
do not put oil in the air freight consignment or Li-po's!! If they x ray it and find it, you'll be watching the racing over there.
